Established in 1977, BAGC, The Bengali Association of Greater Chicago is a 47-year-old nonprofit organization situated in the Mid-West of USA. It is one of the most prestigious South Asian organizations with a growing membership. BAGC, is dedicated to nurturing Asian Indian culture, blending this with the culture of North America and synthesizing the best.

During the past 47 years, BAGC has been extremely active culturally, religiously, philanthropically, and socially, contributing to various institutions of society. It is perhaps most active of all ethnic Asian communities with six bustling socio-cultural events every year. As many as 4000+ people attend BAGC events every year.
