MISSION STATEMENT DEFINING SCOPE

The primary focus of the Senior/Special Needs Support Initiative Team is to increase/enhance participation of BAGC Senior Members/Special Needs individuals in all BAGC related events. Towards this end, we propose the following key items:

  • Determine what specific physical (primarily mobility related) and/or non-physical support can be provided at each BAGC event to physically challenged Seniors and members with Special Needs, in a manner feasible with BAGC’s resources and budget.
  • Provide general information to direct elderly community members (or Special Needs individuals) to resources and volunteers to help their specific needs more specifically locomotive, within the Greater Chicago area.
